Jordan's best friend, Kenny is in the second grade and has a bike that is "just right" for Jordan to borrow. Anyone with a bike can be Jordan's friend--instant bonding! We've also met Marissa who lost her two front teeth and talks with her hands over her mouth.
Jordan tries to use every Spanish word he knows with Kenny and decided to change his name to Jose. He is pretty serious about the name change as I accidentally used his birth name today and he was quick to correct me. When in Rome...right? I mean just take a look at the photo below. With the choices of Kenny, Kevin and Jose...my son is the obvious pick for Jose--wouldn't you agree?
I love the connections between friends, regardless of culture, genuine friendship is a gem!
