Jen, I'm with you on this one too. I am NOT a morning person. I'm a night owl. I'm usually up til about midnight or 1am enjoying the peace and quiet after the all day screaming, crying, fighting, whining and tantrums from 4 little ones. My body clock and my children's clocks do NOT MATCH! lol Usually, they are up at 7am, and I'd love to sleep til 9 or so. I have a monitor on to hear them all, and even when they're up talking and fussing, I'm hoping for just 5 more minutes of rest. Never happens, but.. I can hope right!? I too wish I was full of energy, got all my cleaning, laundry, and dishes done BEFORE everyone gets up, but... I don't see that ever happening. I just accept it for what it is. I do however WISH that they'd share their energy with ME! :D

I love the phrase "breakfast scents waffling thru the air". What if you had made french toast?!

OH, Jen, I'm right there with you when it comes to getting out of bed. Some days (rare ones) I am up before the kids but otherwise the two monitors awaken me. Johnathan is in his own room while the girls share one. Corianna also has her own and usually hears the girls making noise and gets up. All this occurs at around 6-6:30AM. Sunny days are always easier for me to get up get moving. But rainy days like today I wish I could pull the covers over my head!
I've been reading more of your posts and I just want you to know that you are truely blessed. I hope to see you next year at the 20 yr reunion if not sooner!
~Melanie
